The area: Up until very recently, East End Park was predominantly a white working class estate. However in the last few years the neighbourhood has significantly diversified due to an influx of refugees and people seeking asylum.

The work: Our main focus has been on learning what it means to be good neighbours in East End Park. This has meant that we’ve spent much team time listening to people, meeting them where they are at and learning about life in our neighbourhood. Rather than commencing our own programmes we have sought to support the work of other agencies and groups in the neighbourhood. Thus we are involved in youth work, supporting a fresh fruit and vegetable stall, helping at the neighbourhood festival, being members of residents groups, volunteering for groups working with the elderly to name just a few of the things that occupy our time.
Personnel opportunities: We are not currently looking for any more community members.
We produce a newsletter twice a year.
